b) How can we, a bunch of sci-fiction addicted hyper-aggressive males with spastic trigger fingers and/or mining/missioning Carebears who enjoy repeated repetition while dwelling in our parents' basement, help CCP to increase sub numbers by attracting female players to EVE?
We can't.
Let's face it, most of use have never met a real girl. How the heck do you think you can attract one to the game? Might as well try to attract a rhino into subbing for all the ability most of you have in social interaction with someone who isn't a fellow basement dwelling neckbeard.

Makes the rest of us look bad. I'd like to ask you more about that, actually. What do you think the ratios are between competent female players and the "Grrl gamers" out there? Seen not enough of the former myself, compared to the latter. Also, League of Legends isn't a good example lol, they're dickheads to everyone there.
I have certainly played a girl in games to take advantage of the little nerds thinking whatever it is that they think when giving me stuff.
So I will never pass judgment on a real girl for doing the same thing.
How can you people, who play a game that's all about taking unfair advantage of other players, even entertain the thought that using your gender for gain is a bad or unfair thing? Some serious boobie envy goin' on here.

The only players that I've ever been sure were women were outstanding pirates that put most of the guys playing to shame.
But that's neither here nor there is it? It's not about gender. It's about ability. This forum is full of threads laughing at the incompetence of players. 96% (or whatever) of whom are men.
I'm sure that the percentage of bad female players is comparable to that of bad male players. Although why it's even being discussed as a gender thing is beyond me.

You disappoint me. This is EVE. Threats are fun. I meant to say ... you shouldn't need to use an example of how tough women can be. The only reason you need the example is to make it feel good for you to write something like that about women. This is a thread where we have people saying that the way to attract more women to the game is by adding more clothing options, more or less. This is a game where toughness and resourcefulness are two of the most important attributes for any player if they wish to get the most out of their experience. So maybe adding more clothing options will entice more women (and men) to play, but if that's their only reason then I don't want them, and neither should anybody else that's reasonably serious about the game. These kinds of people will get bored pretty quickly, as such their subscriptions won't exactly be reliable. I'm not saying that such things are necessarily bad (hell, I thought the sleeve tattoo idea was pretty great, and more clothing options can't really hurt either) but these are not by far defining features of the game.
The only thing that that will attract more anybody to the game is to make it F2P.
Thank God that ain't gonna happen anytime soon. EVE will stay as it is as long as it is what it is. Suits me just fine.

I know, right!
It's almost as if you really aren't as important as you think you are and people can manage to carry on a conversation without you.
